stainless steel sink + granite counter top + hard water - help!

We have brand new granite countertops, a stainless steel sink and-

unluckily - horribly hard water. We do have a water softener, but to no

avail. The second you run the water, the sink is covered with water stains

granite, l can not use any cleaners with acids in them.I've tried Mr.

Clean, Bar Keeper is friend and some milder cleaners - nothing worked. 
What l need is an easy way to clean this sink and - even more important -a 
good sealer that will keep the water from setting on the surface.Any

Vinegar with a plastic scrub should do the trick and won't

You may have a water softener but it isn't working. Take a
